Champions League preview: Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid

– Barcelona play Atletico Madrid in a Champions League quarter final game
– Atletico have yet to yet in six games against the reigning Champions League winners
– Barcelona will be without Alex Vidal while Atletico can call on Diego Godin
Barcelona welcome Atletico Madrid to the Camp Nou for the quarter-final of the Champions League in what is seen as the biggest tie of all the 2015-2016 QF ties.
Barcelona are top of the league while Atletico Madrid are second on the La Liga log.
Atlético have reached the Uefa Champions League quarter-finals for three consecutive seasons, and have faced Spanish opposition on each occasion.

Barcelona have won the past six meetings, with Atletico’s last victory in the Champions League quarter-finals in April 2014.

Kick off: 7pm
Venue: Camp Nou
Diego Godin is fit to face Barca while Alex Vidal will be absent for Barcelona.
In other games, Bayern Munich welcomes Benfica in what should be a straight forward game for Pep Guardiola’s charges though they will be without defenders Holger Badstuber and Jerome Boateng.
